Summary

William F. Martin is a certified industrial hygienist and is the president of ACT. Mr. Martin directs and performs asbestos, industrial hygiene and environmental consulting. Specialties include asbestos investigations, plan and specification development, abatement monitoring, indoor air quality evaluations, and OSHA/MSHA industrial hygiene surveys.

Mr. Martin has over 29 years’ experience providing industrial hygiene and environmental consulting services to several public and private sector clients. Directed industrial hygiene monitoring, Phase I environmental assessments, training, indoor air quality investigations, asbestos investigations, lead-based paint investigations, specification development and abatement project oversight. Specialized in mining environments including open pit and smelting operations.

Managed the Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Safety, Asbestos, and Construction Design Review Programs at a major university. Responsible for personnel supervision. Acted as departmental liaison to various university departments, OSHA, and environmental regulators. Performed comprehensive safety evaluations for the university campus and medical facilities. Safety evaluations addressed lab safety, industrial hygiene, fire safety and UBC/OSHA code compliance. Experienced in ventilation design/testing, accident investigations, worker compensation claims, hazardous waste handling, and safety training.

Summary

Kevin S. Martin is a project environmental engineer with ACT. Mr. Martin manages hazardous waste remediation projects. Mr. Martin also conducts environmental phase I & II site assessments, asbestos assessments, and asbestos abatement project oversight.

Specific Representative Project Experience:

Mr. Martin has over 25 years of experience working as an environmental engineer and has acted as project manager on over eighty environmental remediation projects throughout the southwestern United States. Responsible for all aspects of remedial activities, including site investigations, system design and specification, construction supervision, system operation and maintenance, data collection, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Martin has acted as the Health and Safety Officer on a Federal Superfund site.

Summary

Nate Pfister is an industrial hygiene technician for ACT. Under the direction of a certified industrial hygienist, Mr. Pfister performs a variety of investigative, inspection and consultation assignments in the industrial environment. Other duties performed include asbestos inspections, supervision of asbestos abatement projects, industrial hygiene monitoring.

Assisted with CIH and professional environmental engineering field activities, conducted EPA and OSHA compliant asbestos inspections for public and private sector clients. Performed an illumination survey.

Telecommunication Technician. Installed telecommunication cable and equipment. Performed commercial projects for public and private sector clients.
