With 35 years of dedicated experience in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Consulting, Mr. Martin has contributed his expertise to various public and private sector clients. His extensive project portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum of services, including industrial hygiene monitoring, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, comprehensive training, investigations into Indoor Air Quality, asbestos assessments, lead-based paint examinations, the development of detailed specifications, and the oversight of abatement projects. Notably, Mr. Martin has specialized in the unique challenges posed by mining environments, including open pit and smelting operations.

In a prior role, Mr. Martin successfully managed Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Safety, Asbestos, and Construction Design Review Programs at a major state university. His responsibilities extended to personnel supervision and acting as a liaison between the department and various university divisions, OSHA, and environmental regulatory bodies. Mr. Martin conducted thorough safety assessments across the university campus and medical facilities, addressing lab safety, industrial hygiene, fire safety, and UBC/OSHA code compliance. Kevin S. Martin is a licensed Professional Engineer in the practice of Environmental Engineering. Mr. Martin is a project environmental engineer with ACT. Mr. Martin oversees and manages hazardous waste remediation projects. Mr. Martin also conducts Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos assessments, and asbestos abatement project oversight.

Mr. Martin has over 30 years of experience working as an environmental engineer and has acted as a project manager on over 80 environmental remediation projects throughout the Southwest United States. Responsible for all aspects of remedial activities, including site investigations, system design and specification, construction supervision, system operation and maintenance, data collection, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Martin has acted as the Health and Safety Officer for a Federal Superfund site.

In this role, Mr. Martin leads consultation projects with both private and public employers who are committed to enhancing their compliance with OSHA regulations across all aspects of their operations. Additionally, he spearheads employee training initiatives, conducts industrial hygiene activities, and evaluates Safety and Health Management systems.

With certification as a Federal OSHA auditor, Mr. Martin collaborates with employers to attain recognition in esteemed programs like the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP), and the Public Entity Partnership Program (PEPP). These programs share a common mission: to foster a culture of workplace safety, boost productivity and efficiency, and reduce worker compensation insurance premiums.

Mr. Martin has previously served as an Industrial Hygiene Consultant for the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH). During his tenure as a consultant under the OSHA State Plan, he assumed roles as a VPP/SHARP Audit Team Lead and Auditor. Mr. Martin conducted numerous OSHA training classes, specializing in Respirable Crystalline Silica, Asbestos, Permit-Required Confined Space, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Hazard Communication. Throughout Arizona, Mr. Martin conducted hundreds of site visits in both general industry and construction settings, encompassing comprehensive audits, industrial hygiene sampling, training, VPP/SHARP assessments, evaluation of safety and health management programs, and active involvement in corrective actions for identified hazards. Mr. Martin has led VPP audit teams for prominent organizations including Honeywell, Raytheon, MI Windows and Doors, Brasfield & Gorrie, and Nucor Steel.
